Emerging Trends 2008 Boston by The SYNERGY Events
On Friday night I had the chance to attend and shoot the The SYNERGY Events” show for Boston Fashion week where desingers including Jerry Tram, Bobby Garnett, Hannah Shaw, James Martinez, Caitlin Allen, Theodore Allegrini III, Micah Clasper-Torch and Maya Molina-Araujo.
I love runway shows and this was one of the best shows I have been to in a while. Fashions shows are just full of energy, passion, action and just plain sexiness. Its all about the lights, cameras and action as the models showcase the newest designs for buyers and fashion magazine editors surrounding the elevated runway. Music kept the night pumping design after design, from vintage classics to neo-80’s wear. I thought it was very cool and ripe for the current market. Can all the outfits be success, no, but do they look really cool and show off what today’s designers can do, yea!
I did not want to shoot the event lined up with the rest of the press, so I kinda prodded around backstage, took some portraits and shot the actual show from the side and back. I wanted the photos to match the view that the buyers and show the excitement of the show with the lights and music pumping and strobing.
